What a month! Not sure where to start!
Sales have been even better and showed consistent growth and this has been boosted by our first ever run to Sheffield. We are spreading further afield and enjoying the exposure.
The first experimental at 7.2% received some mixed reviews but the smoked bourbon porter smashed it and now we had a waiting list for the raspberry wheat beer (Experimental #3) before the brew was even finished. It’s a good hype and we also launched our May special, the Mayflower. It is an American pale ale with a ton (exact quantities are a secret J) of American hops in. Kit loves it and is very pleased and our sales person Michael loves a hoppy crafty beer.
Had some great markets, starting in Sedgefield, then Wynyard, then the food fair at Stewarts Park and lastly Preston Park Farmers’ Market. David nipped off to Norway for a fortnight to have a mid-life crisis trip to the northern-most point of continental Europe to deliver a beer to the next willing person to make the journey that far north. We have both brew kits working at maximum capacity to satisfy the variety and the demand so coming up with plans to increase brewing capacity.
