Meet the Family

Welcome to Three Brothers Brewery

Founded in 2016, Three Brothers Brewery is a family-run microbrewery born from the combined talents and passions of brothers Kit and David, along with their brother-in-law Chris. With Kit’s experience brewing at an independent microbrewery, David’s background as a mechanical engineer, and Chris’ expertise as a head chef, they set out to create something special. With the support and organisational skills of their partners, Beth (David and Kit’s little sister) and Sal (Kit's wife), Three Brothers was born!

Since then, Sal has taken on the role of managing our accounts, all while running her own bar, and Beth has become the driving force behind our events, marketing, and sales. Together, we continue to grow and innovate as a close-knit team, crafting beers that bring people together.

Over the years, our brewery family has continued to grow and evolve, bringing in passionate individuals who share our commitment to brewing and innovation.

  • Russ from Roundhill Brewery leads our brewing team, focusing on beer innovation and training.
  • Matt, our brewer, also hosts brew days and event support.
  • Dan, who completed his brewing apprenticeship, is our delivery driver, taking our beers all over the North East, as well as handling cellar installations.
  • Davey manages deliveries, ensuring our beers reach their destinations with care.
  • Sarah, our sales exec, is also an admin and event support whiz.
  • Janie, with over 20 years of experience in the brewing industry, is our most recent addition to the team as a sales exec.
  • Jake helps with event support and is our go-to for labelling cans.
  • Matt and Bex assist with packaging, ensuring our beers get to you in perfect condition.
  • Our Dad has joined the team, bringing over 40 years of engineering experience to help with innovation and project development.
  • And our Mum has become our resident caterer, making sure everyone’s fed at events.

So when people ask, "Is it really a family business?" the answer is yes—it's 2 brothers, a sister, a sister-in-law, our parents, an honorary 4th brother, and an extended brewery family. Not quite as catchy, but it’s what makes us special!
